Neck
Measure a shirt that fits you well in the collar. Lay the collar flat, measure from center of top collar button to end of buttonhole. Number of inches equals your neck size.
Chest
Measure around fullest part of your chest. Keeping the tape just under your arms, extend around your shoulder blades, holding tape level.
Sleeve
Bend arm slightly at elbow, measure from center back of neck, over shoulder and down outside of arm to your wrist. Number of inches equals your sleeve length.
Waist
Measure just below waist (keeping one finger between tape and body), at the height you normally wear trousers.

Wolsey Grip Top socks
I have been wearing this brand of sock since 2000 but those bought in the last couple of years start to get holes on the top near the toes after just a few months. Please advise me if you are aware of this problem and are doing anything about it because the design is just what I want.

Mr Armstrong. Indeed we are aware, I used to be responsible for making this sock in Belper, Derbyshire. The design has changed a lot since then, and yes it is thinner, but but also has more stretch, and is not so hot (in our centrally heated houses). The recent changes do add more strengh back into the heel and toe I believe.
