  These suit my needs the best.

  I have loathed wearing trousers all of my life since three and a half. They are stuffy, hot and with drab colours. I am now 61, am Five Ten and 44 waist. I used to be 36. I am long in the back and have a high waist from the crotch. Refusing to wear braces, then the elastic waist of these, the fawn colour option and deep upper makes them very successful for me. No slipping off of the hipbone, or the belt cranked up tight. The material is tough, construction good and fit for my shape good too. Since I need to wear trousers everyday when out of the house, and at this price, these are very good indeed. My first pair are three years old or so and still in service, looking good as far as trousers go. I have a second pair and am very satisfied.

  Tight fit.

  These trousers are a tight fit in comparison with other manufacturers and the pockets bulge (as in your illusration!)

  Thank you Mr Hobbs for your appraisal. I seem to remember these were a size too small for me when I modelled them :) You are right that the fit is not generous. Unfortunately the high street have been getting more generous in their sizing rather than Skopes less so!
